Survive regularly loans books to both service users and to volunteers. The library is now quite substantial
and any book may be borrowed for a period of up to a month, free of charge. Titles include self-help books, life stories of survivors of childhood sexual abuse and information for male survivors and partners of
survivors. Clients may call and choose books personally or ask for a library list to be sent out. Books can be
posted out for those not able to call at the office.
We are also constantly collecting information, articles and publications to add to our collection of research
material. This information is accessible to those who can call at the office. We welcome donations of
publications of relevant material.
Our Book loan list 2005 is now available online
For some years now there has been proof that the devastating effects of traumatisation of children
take their inevitable toll on society. This knowledge concerns every single one of us - and if disseminated widely
enough- should lead to fundamental changes in society. Knowledge or ignorance on the part of society can be
instrumental in either saving or destroying a life.
