Welcome to Survive
Survive is an organisation based in York for male and female survivors of childhood sexual abuse, adult rape and sexual assault. Our services are provided by volunteers and managed by our Service Co-ordinator.
The support we offer can take a variety of forms, depending on the needs of each person contacting us, including information and support, self-help groups or one-to-one meetings.
All Survive workers and volunteers are trained in listening skills and issues around child sexual abuse, rape and sexual assault. They have all attended our frontline training programme.
Survive workers and volunteers will accept and value you. We will support you and listen to you. We will let you know that options are available to you through Survive and other organisations, but will always let you make the decisions about which services you use.
